Leah Garden is a Climate Tech Reporter at GreenBiz, climate optimist, and baking enthusiast. She believes that a majority of climate deniers are emboldened and encouraged by poor communication and pessimism. Looking to right that wrong, Leah recently completed her tenure as the 2021 Environment Fellow with Young Professionals in Foreign Policy. Leah writes articles steeped in science and policy, ensuring reliable information, being published in influential outlets such as The New Republic and The Daily Beast. She emphatically educates her readers on what THEY can do to make a difference, never allowing her writing to fall into the “doom and gloom” category, as her mother calls it. Additionally, Leah writes about feminism, history, mental health, her love of all things literary, and her dog, Linus. She has a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from American University and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
