Leah Garden is a freelance climate policy journalist, climate optimist, and collector of rare books. She believes that a majority of climate deniers are emboldened and encouraged by the outsized presence of corrupt corporate priorities and lobbying within our political system. Leah writes deeply reported articles steeped in science and policy, ensuring reliable information. Leah worked as a Staff Writer at Trellis for three years, with other publications in influential outlets such as The New Republic and The Daily Beast. She emphatically educates her readers on what THEY can do to make a difference, never allowing her writing to fall into the “doom and gloom” category, as her mother calls it. Additionally, Leah writes about feminism, history, mental health, her love of all things literary, and her dog, Linus. She has a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from American University and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
